Manufacturing Engineer for Greater Bay Area

Strong passion for advanced manufacturing technologies, including machineries, automation, IoT-based factory systems, and modern operation solutions.

  • Enthusiastic in improving factory performance, identifying operational gaps, and recommending end‑to‑end optimisation solutions.

  • Enjoy collaborating with cross‑functional teams, frontline operators, engineers, and external partners.

  • 3+ years of experience in factory operations, manufacturing engineering, industrial automation, or related fields.

  • Experience in lean manufacturing, SOP development, capacity planning, or large‑scale operational projects is a strong advantage.

  • Friendly, outgoing, and self‑driven, with the ability to lead teams effectively.

  • Flexible, versatile, team player

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with positive attitude

  • Critical thinking, problem solving ability

  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese, Mandarin, English is an advantage

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Factory Operations in overseeing daily plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and compliance.

  • Lead and coordinate automation, semi‑automation, and IoT system implementation across production lines and intra-logistics workflows.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including lean projects, workflow redesign, and efficiency enhancement.

  • Manage and optimise production planning, equipment utilisation, and resource allocation.

  • Supervise maintenance strategies to ensure reliable equipment performance and minimise downtime.

  • Work closely with procurement, engineering, and quality teams to ensure smooth factory operations.

  • Assist in vendor management, tender evaluations, and project execution for new machinery or technology upgrades.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, technology partners, and contractors.

  • Support cross‑region coordination and project execution for the Greater Bay Area as required.

  • Mentor and develop team members to build operational excellence.
