Today, we had the pleasure of experiencing the Lion Dance, a performance deeply rooted in local culture. It's more than just entertainment; it's a tradition that fosters community spirit. We were lucky to have an international guest join us, adding to the joy and celebration.
During the dance, the lion "eats" the lettuce and then tosses it for someone to catch. In Chinese, lettuce sounds like "growth in wealth," so catching it symbolizes receiving a blessing of good fortune.
